Leal Cleaning & Restoration Inc and MARCUS ARE AWESOME TO WORK WITH. I have been dealing with a trouble tenant who had changed the locks and not allowed me inside the apartment for inspection for months.
After the pandemic the court system is moving like walking through molasses. I was only able to finally get inside after another tenant complained about a water leak and securing a court order. As you can probably imagine the apartment was a mess. The water leak was the least of my problems, it turned out that I had a MOLD PROBLEM. I have been a landlord for over 30 years and never had a mold problem.
I contacted Leal Cleaning & Restoration Inc around 9:00 A.M. Marcus promptly answered. After seeing some pictures he agreed to meet THE SAME DAY, within two hours. He did not show up in two hours as he promised, he WAS EARLY, which if you work with trades people, you are aware that is rare.
Marcus, arrived at the agreed upon time, the next morning to start the work. He accomplished the job in record time in a very professional manner. Marcus, remained calm, collected and respectful while working under a very stressful situation with my trouble tenant.
He is great at communicating what needs to be done and how it will be accomplished. It also helps that he is QUADRILINGUAL.
Marcus did a complete mold remediation on two bathrooms. He cleaned out some difficult to reach places, restored the walls, tiles, ceilings, fixtures and shower enclosures. He also, fixed the plumbing issue and water damage it had caused.
I am very happy with the quality of the work Marcus did and was it a better outcome than I was expecting. I plan on recommending him to others and I will be using company from now on.
We arrived home from work on a Friday evening to 3-4″ of standing water in our basement. Marcus was the only one to return our calls and actually came that night and worked through to the next morning to pump all the water out.
He then recommended mold remediation and started that with an extremely thorough drying process on Saturday.

We bought our first house recently, and in the inspection was major water damage underneath the floor in the bathroom, as well as mold. We are first time homebuyers, and i had no idea where to go for services, and I found Leal Cleaning + Restoration on Thumbtack.
I submitted a request at 730pm for him to come out and give us an estimate, and got a call from Marcus less than 20 minutes later. He offered to come the next day and immediately got us on the schedule.
They fixed and replaced the entirety of the water damage to the floor and wall, as well as mold on the plumbing and in the vanity, and laid new flooring for us. He even helped to guide us in picking the right color floor to match our vanity nicely.
If we had a question about anything, he always answered our calls and texts almost immediately!
Marcus and his team were phenomenal in every way: communication, punctuality, quality, price, etc.

I hired Leal Cleaning to perform deep cleaning and disinfection services in a 6-room condo in an old house in Malden occupied for years by a hoarder boarder and mice, after a hoarder removal service had bagged and boxed and removed those 6 rooms of hoarded material.
Marcus was responsive and knowledgeable, inspected the condo a couple days after I called, and did the entire cleanup project in one long day just a couple days later.
When he finished the job, he emailed me before and after color photos and a video tour of the place. The improvement he accomplished was nothing short of amazing.
